Witte de With : MORALITY : EDUCATION : "Ask Art Anything"
From January 2010 on, Witte de With will introduce a specially designed workshop related to Morality, called 'Ask Art Anything'. 'Ask Art Anything' is based on the theory of social constructivism, emphasising the idea that learning is an active and social proces...s. During their visit students literally ask questions at artworks in the gallery spaces. In this process, students learn not only to ask questions, but also to critically examine the artworks and actively experience contemporary art. Under the guidance of Witte de With’s educators, the best questions will be collected and discussed. 'Ask Art Anything' is co-developed with Esther Jonkman (student at the School of Education in Art and Design, Willem de Kooning Academy Rotterdam).

Witte de With Center for Contemporary Art From December to June 2010, visitors of Witte de With will encounter a playful and empowering communication device: Expo[re]view by Leonie Urff, originally developed as her graduation project for the Master Media Design/Networked Media at the Piet Zwart Institute in Rotterdam. Expo[re]view allows people to record and s...hare their own personal experience and stories about artworks in an exhibition, wearing an oversize tie that bears a small video camera. At this moment, the resulting videos are all related to the Morality exhibitions and collected on this website. This project will take place at: 8, 10, 16 December 2-6 pm 9, 10 January 2-6 pm 21, 24, 28 February 2-6 pm 2, 5, 10 March 2-6 pm.
