Investigative Reporters and Editors (IRE and NICAR)
Today is the anniversary of the murder of El Diario de Juarez’
top crime reporter Armando “Choco” Rodriguez. At noon, his fellow
journalists in Ciudad Juarez, who have attempted to continue his work
in documenting the relentless violence in the largest US-Mexico border
city, are gathering to remember him on the Plaza of th...e Journalist.
They seek to remember him and to remind people that no one has been
arrested for the slaying.

Joseph S. Norman Is there a reporter that is interested in doing a story on the assumption of power by the Federal Judiciary and the appearance of corruption that is going on in our courts. I have a file on the subject going back to 1934 and is current through July of 2009. Thanks, Joe josephn126@aol.com

John Fracchia Does IRE have a place where whistleblowers can share information?

Corina Calinescu
Could the tragedy in Texas have been prevented?
I heard psychiatrists on the news stating that "It's very hard to ged rid of a psychiatric resident."
Well, I know for a fact that it's incredibly easy! See WSU in Detroit, MI.

Corina Calinescu Does th psychiatric community in the US monitor its members' capability to provide psychiatric care at any given time? The fact that this murderer is a psychiatrist is not covered enough in the news, his behavior is terrifying and horrifying. I would hate to see this glossed over by explanations and excuses, keeping at...tention from what he actually did. This is postracial USA, it's time to shed the old ways of thinking in brackets.

Corina Calinescu
What do you think about how the massacre in Texas was covered yesterday?
Initially the suspect was reported as dead, then alive? How is this possible?
Also, the suspect is a PSYCHIATRIST, not any kind of mental health professional. This is downplayed too much. Did he see patients that day? What did he tell them?
